We like the record Share functionality... but it's failing us.
1. We need to be able to provide a system view to users of the Accounts that have been Shared with them (or they have Write access to).
2. We want an automatic email to be sent, notifying user that a specific record has been shared with them.
We allow all users Read access to all Accounts and Opportunities. Owners share records to provide Write and Append access to others working on that Account/Opportunity.
If there is no answer to this, what's the point of Sharing if no one knows it been shared with them?
I'm looking for a non-code solution to do this.
Is there something we should be setting up with Access Teams to allow Owners to Share and shared members to see records they have more access to?
