I have a requirement to send an email to a custom field on the opportunity entity when a tick box is checked. The custom field is set up as a single line of text with email as the format.
The issue I have is that when I come to set the 'To' field on the email I cannot select my custom field. This is because the opportunity entity is not enabled for 'Sending email'. The tick box is greyed out on the entity general details.
Does anyone know the reason for this? Is there anyway to change this? Unfortunately I cannot send the email to the customer the opportunity is relating to.
