We are currently on version 2011 that was built completely wrong that is running 10+ managed solutions from a 3rd party vendor that are unable to be removed. The current data in the 2011 system is basically 75% null values in ever entity.
We are going to build our new 2016 environment from scratch since we can not up grade our current solution. Would it be wise to bring over all of the null data from the old system if we do not intend to use it in the new system? If we did, how would we remove fields that we do not use? Is there any documentation or rules of thumb when brining data over from an old system?
