Hierarchy security and Opportunity products

Hi,

I have used succesfully the hierarchy security functionnality in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 to provide a Manager access to the opportunity records that are owned by one of is subordinates.

However the manager cannot see the opportunity products that are included in those opportunity. The manager himself can create an opportunity and add products so its not a limitation of his security role.

This seems to be a limitation of the Hierarchy Security but can someone explain me if there is a way to resolve this and provide full access to the opportunity content. It does not make sense for a manager to see an opportunity without seing the products that where added.
