I'm trying to migrate existing CRM 2011 currently hosted in Windows Server 2008 R2 environment to Windows Server 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2014.
But during my initial assessment i found out that CRM is not supported on Windows Server 2012 R2 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3005163). There are some workarounds posted in the community but i don't want to go with an unofficial methodology as it will be used in a production environment. Upgrading to higher version of CRM is not an option.
I have also heard about Self Healing Setup for CRM 2011 which alllows installation of CRM 2011 on WIndows Server 2012 R2, but i don't have much info on that.
Can somebody guide me the on to which approach to use?
