Using server-side sync & set everything to track all email messages & sending mail via normal Outlook -> what is expected behaviour? Will these messages be tracked automatically in CRM?

 I am trying to understand what the default by design behaviour should be in the following scenario regarding sending mail with the Outlook client.

1. Everything is set to “server side sync” (incoming / outgoing etc..)

2. Everyone has the user options set to “track all email messages”

3. No one has the CRM for Outlook add-on installed (so they do not use the CRM for Outlook Client) 

4. Everyone use the normal Outlook client to send mail

5. What should the default behaviour be by design:

a. All “new” messages sent via Outlook should also be replicated to the CRM database

b. None of the “new” messages sent via Outlook will be replicated to the CRM database
