Filtering Contacts

I have a requirement in which i have to develop a form which have the options to filter contacts based on the Place. My client don#t want to use the Advanced Search.

I know that Query Expression can be used for filtering contacts but how to integrate a HTML5 form into the CRM and filter the contacts? Is it possible with HTML5 or with ASPX Page?

Any ideas?
