Report Filtering by a New field

Hi

I've added a new yes no two option field to the main form in each of the following entities:

- Tasks

- Email

- Appointments

I've done this so that people can then tag the field as yes for any of these activities, which they can then run reports via the criteria filter.

When I tried to run an advanced find after publishing the customisation, I can't seem to find the newly created fields among the fields in the dropdown. Is it because I went and created a custom field and dragged it into each of the entity forms separately? If so how do I go about so that I can pull a activity report for all three tasks?
