We are considering MS CRM Portals Online version and I have some concerns regarding this particular model. Your help in this regard is highly appreciated
1) How do I enable error tracing for ADX Online
While developing against the Online ADX portal, it is not uncommon to hit "Server error", "An error has occured" generic messages that give no clue to developers at all. Is there any strategy/trick that a dev can use to find out what went wrong?
2) How do I query for CRM data from within a Webform that uses client side script?
Because server side custom pages are not allowed in the Online model, how can I run queries from within client side e.g. if I am building a shopping cart, i need to query products that are
a) approved
b) for a particular area
c) Available for a particular year
How can I query CRM data and dynamically bind this to control in the html in the Webform
3) Can we integrate Online deployment to a payment gateway e.g. if we need to call a 3rd party web service (e.g. Paypal) and get the response back. How will this work from the client side. Will there be cross-domain call issues. Is this kind of model supported by Online deployment.
