Custom Get method or something else in Dynamics CRM Online
Hi there!
I have to do something on Dynamics CRM Online side, that can process some parameters (while callback from external system) and do things in CRM.
I can get access token and refresh token for accessing CRM. (Exist registered Azure Active Directory application).
But what it will be? If I call web resource page in background of external system, javascript can't work and logic too doesn't work.
Logic can be implemented on external system side, but I need to do this on CRM side, by calling like a Get method with parameters (for example).

CRM Dynamics Word Macro - MAC Office 365
Hello,
We are using CRM Dynamics 2016 and when we try to MailMerge from CRM to Word on our Mac. But it seems like that the word addin (macro) does not show up. When we check the macro it says: compile error!

Error when selecting template on a Case - issue since Update rollup 4 IE only
Hi
Was wondering if someone can advise on an issue we are seeing. The issue has come about since we have rolled out CRM rollup 4 for CRM 2013 (6.1.4.145 KB3122951 2016 February 22 CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 Update Rollup 4).
When a user goes to service > cases, selects a case and adds email. They can click on select template, choose a template and click select, it produces an error which says
"An error has occurred. Please return to the home page and try again".
It has been noted that this issue only occurs in Internet explorer and not in Google Chrome.
We are running IE11 across our enterprise desktop estate.
Is this some sort of bug? I have noticed there hasn't been another rollup for this version of CRM. Is this likely the last rollup for CRM2013?

Form Javascript: getoptiontext to field (not working)

I have very little knowledge of javascript, but what's wrong with the following code which is active on field change:

x_countrylistglobal = option set field where I'm trying to get the text from, not the value, whenever something is selected (I guess onChange).

CRM 2016 manage solution issue
Hi,
I have very weird problem. I have CRM 2016 SP1 on premisse.
I have Development CRM where I have unmanage solution Solution 2.5.6.0
Then I have production CRM where I have manage soltution Solution 2.5.5.0
I was export from development CRM solution as Manage and want upgrade solution on production CRM
When I am importing solution its failed.
In default CRM entity Connection I have custom field ost_account_name in development CRM is field unmanage
Now when I want to import new version of solution I cannot update this solution because every time get this error:
A managed solution cannot overwrite the Attribute component with Id=3bd34281-86e8-e611-80e9-001dd8bd2d01 which has an unmanaged base instance. The most likely scenario for this error is that an unmanaged solution has installed a new unmanaged Attribute component on the target system, and now a managed solution from the same publisher is trying to install that same Attribute component as managed. This will cause an invalid layering of solutions on the target system and is not allowed.
I tried Maintain and also Overwrite but it is not working.

Export Data - Linking Contacts to Accounts
Hi trying to do a mass export.
When you export there are 3 hidden fields. One of which is the unique ID for that record
When we export Contacts we want to be able link that Contact to their Account ( Primary Practice ) but we cant select the Unique ID for the account where that contact is based

Match records based on fields
Hi,
We are looking at implementing a system into our CRM that will match two separate records together based on the fields that have been populated. Ideally it would work in a similar way to a filtered search. E.g. if you search for trainers you will be able to select a certain colour, which will then only return trainers in that particular colour.
We are a property company that buys and then sells properties. We have lists of buyers who tell us the type of properties they are looking for. E.g. London, two bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms and driveway parking. When we save this buyer we want a list of potential properties that matches this criteria. I understand we would be able to use advanced find to bring up these results but I was hoping there would be a workflow of some kind that would send an email when a buyers spec matches the properties we have available.
This is still very much in the brainstorming phase so I was wondering if anyone had any advice or suggestions they could give me? Maybe there is a plugin that someone is using or a workflow that somebody has already set up.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Solution Import Failed - Error Code: 0x80040216
Hi guys,
I'm trying to import a managed solution to my production environment and it fails with the following Error:
Error Code: 0x80040216
Error Text: Form factor code 0 is missing a control declaration
Can anyone shed any light on what might be causing this issue?
For reference, my Sandbox is currently in Dynamics 365, the Production Environment is CRM Online 2016. The solution is being exported for Version 8.1

Limiting Products in quote
Hi all hope your well
I have a odd question i would like to limit the products in quote based on the family it belongs to. For example i have a field within quotes that's a lookup for all available product families when i select one of the families i would like the products in the add existing products just to should products in the family. The normal way i would do this is to change the filter criteria for the existing product lookup field but this is not available due to the view being locked. Is there away around this

Getting Error While Exporting All Customizations in Dynamics 365 (Version 8.2.0)

While I am exporting all customizations solution, I'm facing the issue. The error is;

This workflow at the state of published. When I make this workflow disabled, nothing is changed.
I started to get this error after roll-up to Version 8.2.0. This error doesn't occur in the previous version.
Any solution?

I wrote custom workflow but I am not able to find the way, how can I schedule this custom workflow without having any record created in CRM on the entity.? Is there any way to do so? I want this scheduling in a solution where User can install my solution and it will starts working properly.

CRM 2011 RetrieveMultiple plugin only from specific view / subgrid
Hello everyone,
I would like to know if it is possible to identify the view from which we come in a RetrieveMultiple plugin.
In fact, I would like my plugin to execute an action only if it has been triggered from the associated Contacts subgrid on the Account form.
Would there be in the context a parameter that would allow me to identify that?

CRM Dynamics 365 - Workflow restrictions
Hi All,
I currently work for a company which intends to migrate from CRM 2011 On Premise to CRM Dynamics 365 Online. Currently our On premise instance has over 150 workflows containing a mix of OTB steps and custom steps. I recently heard that CRM online only allows for 200 workflows. Is this correct? If so is there any add- on solutions to increase the volume should the need arise?

How to dynamically Pass the org name using the Ribbon workbench
Hi,
I am running Dialog using Custom Ribbon Button. I am using the Ribbon work bench.
How we need to modify the Dialog URL so it can automatically Identify The OrgName when we are importing solution in to other orgs.
This is the Dialog URL
I tried removing ObjectId and Org and passed parameters.
ObjectId is working fine but its not finding the org name when I import into another Org.
Below is the modified URL which I am giving in Actions.
/cs/dialog/rundialog.aspx?DialogId=%780DEF49FA-3478-421F-8D57-CD7BBF250CB7%7d&EntityName=new_test
Parameters are:
ObjectId[crm parameter]=PrimaryItemIds
OrgName[crm parameter]=OrgName.
