We have Dynamics CRM 365 On-Premise 8.2.0.749

I have some problems with a workflow (async) that contains a Timeout.

1. The workflow has a timeout until a certain date (or time, doesn't matter I have done a test with a timeout of 5 minutes). When it reaches the timeout it is told to do a check if a certain date is filled with a action if the date is indeed filled.
   The problem is that if the date is filled when the workflow is triggered, then emptied, when the timeout is reached the check still sees the date as filled and not as empty! 
   Does a timed-out workflow also 'remember' the values on the record from when the workflow was triggered?
   
   
2. The workflow has a timeout to a date filled on the Case. The workflow is triggered on creation of the Case, or a change of the date field. If we empty the field, it also triggers the workflow with a time-out to 31-12-9999 (7.981 years from now)

I have real time workflow, It's trigger point is opportunity status change "Closed Won". My requirement is to show only messages configured, I don't want to show highlighted things to end user.

Is it possible in MSCRM Online 8.2 version.. ?

I have added a sub-grid on the Task entity form relating to Tasks. Within that sub-grid I have child tasks that nee to be completed for the parent task. Is there a way that I can restrict the parent task from being closed if any children tasks are still active?

I was wondering what the proper way to go through and make changes to the Phone Call section under Activities when making a new case. I would like to add the duration field to this specific form. I have been unable to determine what entity or form under the Phone Call entity controls this

I am trying to deactivate workflow (the definition workflow) I own using the web api, however, I get an error. The C# examples that I found suggest that this was all that was necessary to "publish/deactivate."

Thoughts?

I'm editing a StackedBar chart with XML forcing it show all departments instead of the out of the box chart only showing it when there's a record found.

I have about 14 departments all with a filter like this in the XML:

Once I try to add the 11th one and import it, the import throws the error that the XML is invalid. Removing the 11th line fixes it.

It makes me wonder is there a limit to how many link-entities I can add to an XML ?

I was with this problem somes days when I've tried to integrated SharePoint to CRM2016 (On Premise) and get post of solutions like to add urls in safes sites, add ips, the frame is too little, etcs...

I've read that this error is when the "Url1" is "steal" information to "Url2", so you need put both Url in "Privacy - Let" in "Internet Options".

But I can't put CRM URL because it keep with http:// and not https:// (We don't have the SSL or SLL yet) and I've read that web without https are considerated "No Safes Sites" 

My dude is, this error will be solved if we get "https://"?? Or we can keep get that with this change?.

Meanwhile, I'm triying to do all solutions that was gave.

PD: I've my http:// crm in "safe sites", but I can't add it in "Privacy - Let"

I am currently struggling with a creation of a workflow. It needs to run "X" times and generate "X" records. I have an entity called Reservation and one called Placement. Reservation is the parent of placement and when a reservation is created, we ask how many placement should be created out of this reservation.

So if a company request a reservation for 4 positions, we need to generate 4 records. If they ask for 15 positions, we would need to generate 15 records.

Is there anything out there that would allow me to achieve this?

The maximum number of positions that can be reserved is 20 so "X" in this case can be from 1 to 20.

I currently face a weird request. I want to add a button to download files from an external REST API. For some specific reasons I must not calls the service from client side. So I'm trying to use an Plugin registered on a custom action and then call the custom action in JavaScript web resource. My question is how to return a binary from custom action? Did any one face the same need and can help me?

I am having trouble returning any results for my linked entities when trying to retrieve the most recent linked records. For example, entity A is linked to Entity B and Entity C. Entity A can have multiple records in entities B & C so I want to get just the latest linked records using a max aggregate on a date attribute in B and another max aggregate on a date attribute in C. The max aggregate seems to only work when used against one linked entity, if I apply it to the other entity as well, I get no results. Thanks for any help!
