I am using the community Portal of the Spring release to create a customer friendly environment for our customers.
Please note that these questions are not correlated.
Question 1
When creating a case, if a Contact is already signed in to the portal, is it possible to autofill the "Customer" field in the new case form by checking the link between the contact signed in and the Customer entity ( as in the contact is linked to an Account in CRM and I want that Account to be filled in the Customer field in my form)? If yes, how so?
Question 2:
Let's say I am accessing the case creation from a Project list:
- I have a project list.
- Each project in the list has multiple cases linked to it.
- When clicking on a Project I open the list of the cases linked to this Project with a "Create new case" button on top of it.
- If I want to create the case using the mentioned button and I added a custom Project field to my case form ( from CRM ), can I automatically fill this Project field with the name of the Project that I accessed?
