Using CRM 2013 on premise we have a custom entity "Client" that we can create "case notes" for.
From the client record, if I create a case note it automatically populates the lookup with the client name - as we want it to. However, from within that case note (having saved it) if the 'New' button is clicked the new case note record that is loaded does not have the client name in the lookup. It forces us to do a 'Save&Close' & then click the 'Add new case note record' button, or to search for the client name in the lookup.
We were previously using CRM 4 which did inherit the client name when you clicked 'New' from within a case note.
Is there a way that I can set up CRM 2013 so that it behaves the way CRM 4 did ?
