I've set up a workflow in Dynamics CRM 2011 to send an email once a case has been created. This email will be sent to the customer including the case tracking number. This is working fine however once the workflow creates the request to send the email it takes a while for this to sync to outlook and actually send it.
I have changed the settings within outlook > file > CRM > options > synchronization, I've set the synchronize time to 1 minute however it still takes around about 10-15 minutes to send the email. This can be sped up however by clicking the "Synchronize with CRM" manually under the CRM tab in outlook. After clicking that i get the completed messages and there's one for "Checking for Microsoft Dynamics CRM e-mail activities to be sent" which it has complete next to it.
I'm just wondering why it receives the email when i manually click it however when i leave it to manually sync it takes 10-15 minutes.
