Dynamics CRM 2013 SP1 Rollup 4: Lookup field loses focus on click

Hello community,

For one of our customers who are currently still on rollup 4 (yes, we're working on a plan to migrate) we've seen an issue with the latest rollup for Dynamics CRM 2013. When we click on a lookup field (or tab to it) the field pops open and shows the first 10 suggestions. This is all fine, but while it shows the list, the cursor is removed and there is no focus on the textbox for the lookup. This means that when people click on the lookup they can't directly type in to search and first have to press esc or click again.

We've not seen this behavior in any other version of CRM, so the most straight forward solution would be to upgrade CRM, but this is not a short term solution for this customer. Has anyone seen the same behavior in the same RU, and perhaps with a fix?

Steps to reproduce:
- Have a CRM 2013 SP1 RU4 server and one other installation (can be any other version)
- Go to a form with a lookup attribute
- Click on the lookup attribute and start typing
- Notice that this does not work in CRM 2013 SP1 RU4 and does work in any other version
