It's common for us to receive RFQ's from multiple sources from the same thing, in some situations a partner may register the opportunity as theirs in that case we don't want to allow quotes to go out to other partners for the same thing. Currently it's an advanced filter to check the topic for the opportunities but it would be beneficial if it checked automatically as the new opportunity was being created and then gives the user the choice to create it anyway or cancel the creation. Would this be best acheived via JScript on the opportunity form, or is it possible to create a dialog that creates the opportunity?, or is there a different method I should consider?
Any examples would be really appreciated.
