FYI: I use CRM 2013 On prem (SP1 UR4)
I wanted to use the CRM OData API in order to build a Power BI dashboard for monitoring user accesses.
Everything worked fine with Power BI, I could connect to the endpoint and retrieve data from the AuditSet entity.
So the next step is to filter the data returned by the webservice so I just have the accesses:
- Access via Web (Action = 64
- Access via Web Service (Action = 65)
But it turns out that all those records have the same UserId (corresponding to the SYSTEM user).
I checked whether it is a bug in the OData interface but I've the same result in SQL:
So it is impossible for me to have my report with the number of Accesses per User and per Month.
I was thinking that maybe the fact that it always use the same user is because of the ADFS / IFD mechanism used for the authentication.
Is it normal? please let me know what is the situation on your end.
