Greetings,
We have several non-Microsoft softwares being used for work purpose in our company. We would like to initiate SMS or email from these software. We are bringing in MS Dynamics CRM very soon. However I would like to know whether CRM can be used as a communication platform for sending these SMS and Emails. Meaning that in the background the communication will be sent via CRM but on the forefront will reside our company's other softwares. Is this possible? Can we fully utilize CRM's capabilities of communication? If yes, can you please shed some light how this could be achieved, coding/customization/web services?
