Work hours

Hello,

In the CRM 2015 application I am currently working on there is a requirement where availability hours (with the interface similar to customer service calendar) need to be specified for a contact.
This data then will be used to validate appointment time on creation of appointment. What would be the best option here? So far I can only see these choices so far:

1. Create a plugin that would insert a record into calendar entity upon creation of the contact and associate it with a contact  - how to arrange UI in this case?
2. Associate Facility/Equipment with a contact and use its work hours interface
3  Associate Service with a contact and use its service hours interface
4. Create custom entity and UI to store availability hours
