Customer Self Service Portal Case Timeline Content

Sorry if this is a silly question.

Is there a definitive list of what is exposed in the timeline under a case in the Customer Self Service portal for CRM Portals?

I can clearly see it shows Portal Comments and attachments, but it also seems to show the e-mail sent when the case was created.  What else does this control expose? Could we end up showing the customer something that was meant for internal eyes only?
