We have a business requirement to give users the ability to do mail merge on one or more Contacts, but have the resulting letters be non-editable, i.e. secure PDF or protected Word document. We want to use templates vs reports since power users need the ability to create/manage the templates.
Can any of you think of a good solution for this? We are trying to avoid a lot of customization. Configuration is totally fine, but custom code we want to limit to what is absolutely necessary. All ideas welcome, even 3rd party add-on tools. We are using CRM 2016 on-premise.
