Workflow to set Status of Appt to Completed when Today occurs

Hi, 

How has anyone handled the above situation?  

Basically I am tracking appointments completed in Goals. 

When an Appt. End Time is greater than or equal to NOW, I want to set the Workflow to change status of that appt. to 'Completed', so then it counts toward the goal.  

I suppose I need a calculated field on the form to trigger the workflow - let me know ideas if you have any.  Thx.
