Populate created on field year in string/ Whole numeber Field

Hi,

I'm working on auto populate the created on only year in string field by using the Jscript.
How can I achieve this, anyone have any idea that will be highly appreciated.

From Created on Date I want to take only year and auto populate in String or Whole number.
