Hi, our customer wants some mods to CRM. They use the activities tab on the social pane on the account form to review emails that are related to the account, opportunities, etc. They have 2 problems with the social pane - firstly it does not show the fields that they want, and secondly, you cannot right click and open in new window which is a major annoyance for them.
We have created a sub grid with activities on the account form. This shows all activities but is linking to the regarding field for the account. As expected, this only brings back activities directly linked tot eh account.
Is there a way of returning the same records as the social pane->activities tab with the activities for opportunities, etc further down the hierarchy? Could this be done via fetch XML for example? I'd prefer to keep it as a sub grid. I know i could create a web resourcem then query each entity - eg account, related opps, contacts, etc from there, but i'd prefer to keep it in a sub grid.
