Recently, I come across with below requirements:
We have Dynamics CRM Online, Azure with SQL DB
1. On creating Opportunity in CRM Online, it should create a record in Azure DB.
--> I am planning to run a plug-in on creation of Opp and from the plug-in I will invoke the WCF service to create a record in Azure DB.
Please suggest the best way if this is not.
2. Azure DB integrated with other application that update the data came from CRM. [This is not in scope of my requirements]
3. I need to display the records from Azure DB inside the CRM Online sitemap. Here, user should able to Edit the records inline (Editable grid).
--> Here, I am planning to create a ASP.net webpage and get the data from Azure DB via WCF Service.
But, How can I access this ASP.NET page inside the CRM sitemap?
Can someone please suggest the best way to display the data from Azure DB inside the CRM Sitemap.
