I want to prevent the users from updating the option set value to null for a record while doing an excel import and also notify them of their error. I believe the best way to do this is using a real-time workflow to cancel the operation which works fine in stopping the import. However this appears to be also rolling back the create of a notification done before that hence making it difficult to create a notification for the user.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
