a Dynamics 365 user has plugin loaded on Outlook 365. User reports search functionality does not work when he is looking to create an opportunity from the activities list.
He knows that the customer that will be used in the opportunity record has already got an account, so needs to carry out a search for the account
When he adds data to the Look for Account field the recent records list displays but when he completes typing the value and clicks on search the message no records found is displayed, and the message create a new account is displayed.
I have triaged and for example if no value is typed then a full list of accounts are displayed. We then did a search for one of the listed companies and that record could be found.
Has anyone any experience of this type of issue and what they did to overcome the issue, please
