CRM (on premise) and Sharepoint (on premise) guide. Please look at step #1 where you see the first Powershell Command:
.\CertificateReconfiguration.ps1 -certificateFile c:\Personalcertfile.pfx -password personal_certfile_password -updateCrm -certificateType S2STokenIssuer -serviceAccount contoso\CRMAsyncService -storeFindType FindBySubjectDistinguishedName
Are they referring to exporting your CRM certificate or something else? My command doesn't seem to error out but I have a feeling it isn't working because I get a similar result to this guy when I go to execute the second Powershell Command: ms-crm-2011-beta.blogspot.sg/.../ms-crm-2016-sharepoint-integration.html
