I'm looking at implementing a scoring mechanism per company account (prospect and/or customer) to show the level of interaction we have with any given company.
The reason for doing this is that we have a number of records in our database where they are stagnant and therefore missed opportunities for the wider sales team who have more time/will etc to use the data more productively. If I can track those accounts that are not being worked consistently I can reallocate them.
ModifiedOn only reacts to fields that are completed on the directly related entity so I can use this to monitor updates for the fields on the card. I need to watch for completed calls, opportunity creation (update and closure too), phone calls, orders.
Given these are all related I figured I could create modifiedon fields for each of the entities I want to track and use a workflow to update the relatedfield.modifiedon to the latest date value.
Before I set off on making my changes I wondered if the community had any suggestion for plugins, apps, methods for doing similar that they have seen work.
I'd be very grateful to get some feedback.
