Appointments Status

Hi All,

I've noticed one of our users has a SCHEDULED activity for 10 October. She set up this in advance of 10 October, and then following the meeting has added notes but it looks like she hasn't closed it.

 My question is, shouldn't the system update the status from SCHEDULED to OPEN once the date of the activity passes? Can you please advise what how the system manages these statuses?
