Portal - Insert & Update in the same form

Hey guys.

Here's the deal. I need to create an web form with two steps. The problem is the first one need to be an upsert (insert and update) for the contact's account. The second step of the form, it's only a create, so no problem at step 2.

Is there any way to make this happen?
