I've got a question regarding email templates that I've made in CRM and using it in Outlook via the CRM for Outlook plugin.
I've noticed that when creating an email in Outlook, I need to first ensure a recipient is added to the "To" area of the email and the email must be tracked to the CRM before the email template button becomes available.
For some reason, the only templates that are visible are ones associated with the Contact "Template Type". I wanted to merge across a email template associated with the Opportunity "Template Type" but the Outlook plugin either does not load the pop up screen or gives me a error telling me that I need to associate or track the email into the CRM.
Can the email template option for Outlook only work for templates associated with Contacts?
