Hi.
We had been working towards a helpdesk solution with one of our clients that had very specific requirements around which users could see which cases.
We had tasks designed based on version 7 of AdxStudio but as this is to be hosted we must use the CRM Portal add-on which is version 8.
We had intended using plugins to create very specific "Case Access Permission" records providing users with access to cases for specific accounts.
For example, say they wanted a specific contact to be able to access cases for Accounts A and B - we could create 2 Case Access Permission records (one linking the contact to Account A & the other linking the contact to Account B).
It seems on the hosted version 8 that this entity no longer exists and access is now utilised through the Entity Permissions entity.
So I guess my question is - is there any way in a Microsoft hosted environment (essentially Adx version 8) - to provide the same functionality as described above where we give contact records access to cases for a specific set of account records?
I am struggling to see how this is possible in the hosted environment at the moment unless I am misunderstanding how the Entity permissions work?
