Workflow triggers plugin when depth condition is put . Depth is 1 after workflow executes

I have a workflow that updates owner and a plugin which is triggered on change of owner. But everytime my workflow triggers my plugin. I have checked  Depth in my plugin. however, Depth comes as 1 eventhough it is triggered from workflow.

Is there a way to check how plugin has been triggered through workflow, another plugin?
