Hello,
I've set up a new business unit and new security role for a new user. (I copied the configuration and security role of another user in a different business unit that has a similar setup and is also using the Outlook plug in successfully). With his configuration this new user is able to log into the web and use CRM no problem, however, the Outlook Plug In will not install.
It loops on the "Adding Organization" piece a few times, then we receive the following error:
"You do not have permission to access these records. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics CRM administrator.
Principle user is missing prvWriteUserSettings privilege.

Any help would be appreciated. We've tried to create a new license for him and assign a different business unit and security role and we run into the same problem. We've also tried different hardware and a different windows setup. In the meantime we installed the plug in no problem for another user in one of the other business units.
