I'm trying to create a chart that can be viewed in some page/view/thing on CRM. CRM is new, though I have a few years' experience with C# & VS (non-web). I've managed to extract the data I need from CRM, and created some collections that will make it easy to chart the data, but I'm stuck at how I create the chart in the VS solution (and next, how to get that chart from the solution to CRM - but I'll save that q for another day).
It's a 2-axis chart that details the number of opened cases, the number of closed cases and the timespan between opening and closing for closed cases. The case counts are columnar and the timespan is a line graph.
What is the best format for producing a chart from a bunch of data so that we can display it on a CRM page? Do I use a web page so it can be used as a web part? Is there some doco for doing this in CRM2016 somewhere?
